Schlitterbahn co-owner Jeff Henry named Inventor of the Year

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Schlitterbahn’s Jeff Henry will be named Inventor of the Year at the annual Austin Intellectual Property Law Association’s Judges’ Dinner hosted at 7 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel.

Known worldwide for his ingenious waterpark designs and attractions, Jeff Henry currently holds more than 60 patents and trademarks representing award-winning innovations such as interconnected Transportainment attractions, Master Blaster uphill water coasters, tidal-wave rivers, convertible waterparks and the Aquaveyer uphill rider-friendly conveyer belt systems.

The official announcement of the award will be presented during the annual Judges’ Dinner on November 12, 2012 at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel. Dinner begins at 7 p.m., followed by a guest speaker presentation and a brief awards ceremony where Jeff will be presented with the award and invited to speak.
